Day-shift Production
About The Position
GEM Care has immediate openings in Clinton, TN for Production Associates on both day and night shifts at AISIN Automotive.
This is a contract-to-hire position. The pay is $18 for day shift. This position offers excellent benefits from our client when you are hired permanently, including an on-site health center and free fitness club membership.
Day shift: Monday-Friday (5:00 AM-5:00 PM); overtime will be required
Need to have a flexible schedule and willing to work 6-7 days per week when needed. Not all the time but when production picks up.
Responsibilities
- Operates equipment and machinery in the casting, machining, manufacturing, inspection, and assembly of aluminum automotive components
- Verifies that the component is cast, machined, and assembled according to customer specifications
- Moves materials throughout all stages of the manufacturing process
Requirements
- Previous experience in production, manufacturing, casting, or other related fields preferred
- Pass a 12 panel drug screen (including THC)
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, occasionally to frequently
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks for long periods of time
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Moderate level of mobility; ability to push, pull and move finished product
- Candidate should be self-motivated, energetic and highly organized
- Steel toe shoes required
- At least 18 years of age
